Meet Our Teachers

Jessilyn began dancing at age two. She attended high school in Jacksonville Florida at Douglass Anderson School Of The Arts, majoring in dance. She spent her summers doing dance intensives at Joffrey Ballet School in New York, North Florida Ballet in Jacksonville, and Next Generation Ballet in Tampa FL. At age 16 she toured with East Coast Ballet as a lead in their original work, “Spellbound”. At 17 she moved to New York, where she trained at Joffrey Ballet School – receiving a scholarship to study as a trainee. She danced professionally with the contemporary company, Unforced Rhythms, and Ballet East Dance. Today, Jessilyn is eager to channel her experience, passion, and knowledge into nurturing the next generation of artists.


Paige "Queen TuT '' Stewart hails from Queens, New York, and works currently as a dancer, choreographer stage manager, event coordinator of showcases and international dance tours. She also is a dance instructor at various public schools, dance schools, and arts centers.She has danced professionally for names like Nick Cannon, Fred Hammond, Lupe Fiasco, and Ariana Grande. She is the founder of The Kingdom dance company, where she provides free dance, art, and poetry classes for young artists in the New York area, helping them take their artistry to the next level from her own pocket. She hopes to enlighten and enhance the lives and work of producing artists, performing artists and curators.


Doreen has been a part of Studio E since 1970 and is truly a homegrown talent. She began dancing at a young age and started teaching at just 16 years old. Over the years, she has trained with legendary instructors including Deborah Hahn Phil Black, Charles Kelly, Luigi, and Christine Neubert, developing a strong foundation in both technique and teaching.

With decades of experience, Doreen is now proudly teaching a second generation of dancers — many of whom are the children of her former students. Her warmth, dedication, and deep passion for dance continue to inspire everyone she teaches. Doreen’s legacy is a treasured part of Studio E’s history and heart. Her dedication, experience, and love for her students continue to make her a beloved part of the Studio E family.


Leonel Linares started dancing in this hometown of Merida, Venezuela when he studies included Venezuelan folklore, Latin Jazz, hip hop, Contemporary and Ballet. He was awarded a scholarship to study with the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City. His professional career includes ballet Nuevo Mundo de Caracas under the direction of Zhandra Rodriguez, Ballet Teresa Carreno, Compania Danza Actual under the direction of Macarena Solorzano, Ballet de Marjorie Flores and as dancer and choreographer for one of the Venezuela´s TV networks Venevision. He was invited to dance with compania Imagen Latina in Los Angeles for the World Salsa Congress, Minnesota Dance Theatre, Ajkun Ballet Theatre, Contemporay Ballet Theatre, Revolucion Latina, Morales Dance and Ballet Des Moines, Cecilia Martha Dance Company, actual Ballet Master of Staten Island Ballet.
